EPL 29: Spurs 0 - 0 West Ham

For this game I think it says a lot about West ham's performance that Harry Redknapp told Bale and Lennon to switch sides to see if they could break us down this way. West Ham defend well and sometimes create a few chances. Spurs has no luck this time. With Defoe were put as a lone striker, he fails to prove his quality. Only after Pav come in, the tempo is change but he still cannot  helps us to find the net.

A credit should go to Wayne Bridge with excellent performance. It says a lot about his performance that he received the man of the match award after Green's heroics in the match. He frustrated Lennon and then Bale. The only joy Spurs had was attacking from the opposite side to Bridge.

I really dont understand why Van der Vart were bring out for Pav. He is the playmaker for Spurs (likes Modric). Harry should remain him for 90 minutes. Spurs should be aware of the threatening from Liverpool who in highly morale after beat Sunderland.

EPL Match 27: Blackpool (3) vs Spurs (1)

As Chelsea wins over Man United, 2 -1, Spurs now at fifth place. This is a few review and comments after the match.

1. DJ Campbell brilliant second goal was a tad offside but we have had a fair few against us so sorry spurs I wish we could have it against the teams who did it to us but thats football.

2. To be fair, Spurs got really unlucky and we had at least 3-4 goals cleared off the line as well as an offsides goal counted against them.

3. What's funny about this game is that before kick-off, Redknapp was heaping praise on Ian Holloway for being the manager of the season in his book (if Blackpool stay up) because of how they play so well with so little talent. I think this game just may have proved his point.

4. Blackpool deserve full credit though, they went about their game and executed in perfectly. Brilliant last gasp defending by Cathcart in particular and Kingson made some good stop also. Adam looked quality again and overall they just took their chances. 8 shots, 4 on goal, 3 goals. The only comfort I can draw from this is that Blackpool are probably staying up now which is good as I do like the way they've gone about their first season in the premier league and wished more newly promoted teams did the same.

5. Maybe we really miss Gareth Bale action!
